How much longer after ASN to get BSN?
I'm contemplating going back to school for a nursing degree. Currently I'm tossing around getting my ASN first (cheaper, closer to home) and then my BSN. For those that have gone this route, how much longer does it take to get the BSN or should I just apply for an accelerated program (I already have a BS in Psch and an MS in Health Admin)? My concern is how cost-effective is the first option vs the second? The accelerated program is obviously more expensive but from a time standpoint, should I just bite the bullet and get it over with in the year's timeframe and deal with student loans afterwards hoping I get a decent job?
